JippyTalk gives you full control over your information. To permanently delete your account and the data tied to it, email us from the JippyTalk app and include your account details so we can verify and locate your account.
How to request deletion
Send an email to eswar2614@gmail.com asking us to delete your account. To make sure the request reaches the right account, please:
- Email from within the JippyTalk app. Open the app and use its email/contact option to reach us — this ties the request to your account and helps us verify it's really you.
- Include your account details in the message — most importantly the phone number you registered with, including your country code.
- Use a clear subject line such as "Account Deletion Request" so we can action it quickly.

This opens a pre-filled email with the details we need — just add your phone number and username, then send. Where possible, send it from the JippyTalk app.

What to include in your email
So we can find and verify your account, please include:
- Registered phone number — the number you use for JippyTalk, with country code (e.g. +91).
- Username — the name shown on your JippyTalk profile.
- Subject line — "Account Deletion Request".
- Sent from the app — where you can, send the email using the JippyTalk app's contact option.
What gets deleted
When your request is completed, we remove the following from JippyTalk's servers:
- Your phone number
- Your username
- Your profile picture
- Your about / status
- Your contacts (the hashed matches held for you)
- Your last seen
What happens next
We check the phone number and account details in your email to confirm the account is yours.
Once verified, we permanently remove your account data from our servers, typically within 7 days.
We'll reply to let you know your account and associated data have been deleted.
